Built for HVAC contractors · In development

Turn missed HVAC calls into more booked jobs.

HammerClerk is being built to help HVAC businesses follow up with leads faster, qualify potential customers, and organize appointment opportunities, all from one place.

No payment required. Not yet available for purchase.

What HammerClerk is designed to do

  • Text back callers you couldn't answer
  • Collect the job details before you call back
  • Keep every lead and conversation in one place
  • Turn appointment requests into scheduled jobs

These are product goals, not current features. We'll mark each capability as available only after it has been built and tested.

The problem

Every missed call is a job someone else might book.

Busy HVAC teams lose opportunities not because they do bad work, but because they can't respond to everyone fast enough.

Calls come in while you're on a job

You can't answer the phone from inside an attic or under a condenser. When a call goes unanswered, the caller often moves on to the next company on their list.

Slow follow-up costs you the job

A homeowner with no heat or no AC wants an answer now. By the time you call back at the end of the day, they may have already booked someone else.

Leads end up scattered everywhere

Voicemails, texts, web forms, and sticky notes make it easy for good leads to slip through the cracks and hard to see what still needs follow-up.

How it will work

From missed call to scheduled job.

This is the workflow we're building. Each step will be available only after it has been implemented and tested.

  1. A call is missed or a new lead comes in

A homeowner calls while your team is busy, or submits a request another way.

  2. HammerClerk follows up by text

Once your account and phone number are set up, HammerClerk sends a prompt, friendly text so the lead knows you got their message.

  3. The AI assistant gathers the details

It asks for the customer's name, contact info, the HVAC issue, and when they'd like someone to come out. Your team can take over at any time.

  4. The lead appears in your dashboard

Each lead shows up with its conversation and details, so nothing gets lost in a voicemail box.

  5. You track, manage, and schedule

Review conversations, update lead status, and turn appointment requests into confirmed jobs.

What we're building

One place to respond, qualify, and schedule.

These are the core capabilities planned for HammerClerk. None are available yet. We'll update this page as each one is built and tested.

Planned

Missed-call text-back

When a call goes unanswered, the caller gets a text from your business number so the conversation keeps going.

Planned

AI-assisted lead qualification

An assistant asks the questions your office would ask, such as what's wrong, where the home is, and how urgent it is, then summarizes the answers for your team.

Planned

Lead management dashboard

See every lead, its status, and its history in one simple list. Mark leads as new, contacted, scheduled, won, or lost.

Planned

Shared conversation inbox

Everyone on your team can see the same customer conversations, so no one has to ask who texted whom.

Planned

Appointment scheduling

Capture the times customers prefer, manage your availability, and keep requested appointments clearly separate from confirmed bookings.

Planned

Consent and human handoff

Texting will follow consent and opt-out rules, including replies like STOP, and your team can step into any conversation at any time.

Proposed pricing

Simple monthly plans with clear limits.

Pick the level of automation that fits your business. Every plan has defined usage allowances, so you'll know what to expect.

HammerClerk is still in development and is not available for purchase. These prices and allowances are our current proposal and may change before launch.

FAQ

Questions you might have.

Straight answers about what HammerClerk is, what's available, and what's still being built.

Is HammerClerk available today?

Not yet. HammerClerk is in development. None of the features on this page are available for use or purchase today. Join the waitlist to hear when early access opens.

How will HammerClerk work?

When a call to your business goes unanswered or a new lead comes in, HammerClerk will follow up by text, gather the customer's details and HVAC issue, and add the lead to a simple dashboard where your team can track conversations and schedule appointments.

Will the AI talk to my customers without my team?

The assistant is being designed to handle the first follow-up and collect information, based on settings you control. Your team will be able to see every conversation and take over at any time. Requested appointment times will stay requests until your team confirms them.

What will setup involve?

We expect setup to include creating your account, connecting a business phone number, entering your service area, hours, and services, and completing the carrier registration that's required for business texting in the U.S. Carrier registration is handled by the phone carriers and can take time. We'll publish exact setup steps before launch.

Will I need to change my business phone number?

We're designing setup so you can keep your existing business number. The exact options depend on your phone provider and will be confirmed before launch.

How will texting rules and opt-outs be handled?

HammerClerk will be built to follow U.S. business texting requirements, including customer consent, carrier registration, and honoring opt-out replies such as STOP. We won't send real messages until the texting integration has been properly configured and tested.

How will pricing and usage limits work?

We're proposing three monthly plans of $149, $299, and $599, each with defined allowances for text messages, AI-handled conversations, phone numbers, and team logins. These numbers may change before launch. What happens if you reach an allowance hasn't been decided yet, and we'll publish it clearly before anyone is asked to pay.

Is there a contract or free trial?

Billing terms, including trials and contract length, haven't been set yet. We'll publish them before launch. Joining the waitlist doesn't commit you to anything.

Will it connect to tools like ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or Jobber?

Not at launch. Integrations with field-service software are something we plan to explore later. Let us know which tools you use in the waitlist form so we can prioritize.

Is HammerClerk only for HVAC businesses?

We're starting with HVAC so we can get the experience right for one trade first. We plan to expand to plumbing, electrical, roofing, and other home-service businesses afterward.

What happens when I join the waitlist?

Right now, online signup isn't connected yet, so the form does not save your details. The form will tell you this when you submit it. Online signups will be saved once we connect it, which is coming soon.
